Lindsay Bower
Education & Awareness Manager
Lindsay is a qualified and experienced primary school teacher. She joined Childnet in January 2010 and is part of the Education Team responsible for undertaking Childnet's outreach work in schools; providing Activity Days and workshop sessions for pupils, staff and parents. Lindsay's interests include the increasing use of new technologies among pre-school aged children and thus she has developed Childnet's new pre-primary and primary resources. Lindsay studied Theology and Religious Studies at the University of Wales Cardiff, was awarded her PGCE from St. Mary's College in Twickenham and subsequently taught full time in Year 3 and Year 1 for four years.

Best thing about Childnet: Being able to interact with, and learn from, children across every Key Stage. Also, working with an enthusiastic and supportive team of staff who are passionate, creative and always seeking new ways to inspire teachers and children with our presentations and projects.
