The Childnet Film competition is now closed… what happens next?

13 June 2018

The 2018 film competition was the biggest one yet! Entries for the competition closed at 5pm on Monday 11th June, in this blog we look at what happens next and when the winning films will be available for use in your school!

When are the Finalists notified?

The successful finalists from both the primary and secondary categories will be notified on Monday 18th June.

All entrants will receive a certificate for their involvement.

What is the finalist’s event?

The Childnet Film Competition finalist’s event is a great opportunity for our finalists to meet each other, watch their films on the big screen at the BFI London, and then find out where they have placed in the competition!

This year’s finalists’ event will take place on Tuesday 3rd July 2018 at the BFI in London and includes a private screening of all the films to the finalists and industry guests.

When can I watch the winning films?

The winning films will be available to view following the finalists event in the 3rd of July. We will be sharing these on our social media and on the Childnet Website.
