Teaching Resources
Jenny’s Story has been designed to be viewed in the classroom, with a teacher present. The following resources will help teachers in PHSE, Citizenship or ICT, prepare and follow up from a lesson using the Jenny’s Story film. The resource consists of a DVD and a detailed Teacher’s Guide which you can download here.
Some of the elements of the teachers guide can be viewed as separate documents below. The pre and post film questionnaires can be used to assess the impact of the lesson on the pupils, and also to find out more about pupils use of the internet generally.
"I am a counsellor in a large secondary school in Derbyshire and today have been part of the showing of Jenny's Story. We showed the DVD and spoke for over an hour on the subject to year seven pupils. It was very successful and made all the pupils think about the details they were giving to strangers via the internet.
