Government Ministers Challenged to Consider Children 09 October 1998

A major international conference of Government ministers from OECD countries responsible for Internet developments along with representatives of major companies, were challenged to consider the needs of children. Nigel Williams, Director of Childnet International, made a plea in the final plenary session that commercial interests should not consider carefully childrens needs, and that the need to protect them from exploitation should not be sidelined.
