Welcome to the Secondary category of the Childnet International Film Competition 2018!
We challenge you to create a 2 minute film in response to the theme:
Connect with respect - a better internet starts with us!
What do you do to share respect online?
Childnet are challenging pupils aged 11-18 to create a 2 minute film in response to this theme. We are looking for creative, imaginative films which reflect a positive and inspiring message.
Something other young people your age would want to watch and learn something new. Use comedy, animation, music, or how about creating an advert, campaign or documentary. It’s entirely up to you! All you have to do is make sure that your completed film reaches us by Monday 11th June to be in with a chance of winning a great prize for your school or youth organisation.
Shortlisted finalists will then be invited to a private screening at London’s BFI on Tuesday 3rd July, where the winners in both categories will be revealed by our judging panel. The winners will each receive a filmmaking kit for their school which includes a Canon DSLR camera, tripod and clapperboard.
All shortlisted finalists will be notified on Monday 18th June 2018.
Good luck and have fun!
