Senior Education Projects Officer
Lindsay has worked at Childnet as part of the Education Team for 13 years and began her Childnet career as an Education Officer, delivering presentations in schools. She is now a Senior Education Projects Officer and has taken the lead on many projects over the years, writing content for parents and carers, educators, and pupils.
Lindsay’s favourite pieces of work to date have been creating the Smartie the Penguin and Salma the Seal stories, and most noticeably authoring the 5-book series of Digiduck stories, which help introduce younger internet users to life online. Before joining Childnet, Lindsay was an experienced primary school teacher.
She studied Theology and Religious Studies at the University of Wales Cardiff, was awarded her PGCE from St. Mary’s College in Twickenham and subsequently taught full time in Year 3 and Year 1 for four years.
