Secondary category

Welcome to the Secondary category of the Childnet Film Competition 2020!

The secondary category is for young people aged 11-18 and the challenge is to create a 2 minute film in response to the theme:

We want an internet where we're free to...

What does the internet allow you to do and are there any ways it could be even better?

How much freedom do you think you have online? Do you think we are free to be ourselves online and feel safe to post without criticism? It’s up to you! Simply decide what you want to say and tell us how you think we can all make it happen.

We are looking for creative, inspiring and imaginative films which reflect this year’s theme.

Just make sure your completed films reach us by Wednesday 3rd June 2020 to be in with a chance of winning some great prizes for your school or youth organisation.

Three films will be shortlisted and invited to a private screening at London’s BFI on Wednesday 1st July 2020 where the winners in both categories will be revealed by our prestigious judging panel.
