Kate joined Childnet in April 2015 as a member of our Education Team. She is responsible for managing the education team who deliver Childnet’s Activity Days in schools for pupils, staff and parents.
Kate is a qualified and experienced primary school teacher, with four year experience in Key Stage 2 and ICT/ E-safety subject leadership. Kate holds an honors degree in Media Arts from Plymouth University and was awarded her PGCE with a specialism in ICT from Roehampton University.
Kate has lead on the creation of Childnet resources about critical thinking and PSHE including sexting, pornography and healthy relationships. She is currently working on the development and extenstion of Childnet's STAR toolkit resource for young people with special educational needs.

Make sure your digital footprint is actually reflecting who you are as a person and your achievements, without oversharing personal information.
