Senior Education Projects Officer
Becky originally studied theatre at Rose Bruford College of Speech and Drama, bringing with her a background in theatre in education. In addition to her performance work, she worked extensively as a drama workshop leader, working in a variety of settings.
Becky works closely with the Education Team and develops resources with a creative approach to address key e-safety issues. Some of her work includes the sexting resource “Picture This”, the film content for Childnet’s PSHE Toolkits, which looks at issues such as cyberbullying, sexting, pornography and healthy relationships and more recently, Childnet’s STAR Toolkit and Thrive Online. Becky is also responsible for the Childnet Film Competition and continues to develop practical interactive activities in many aspects of Childnet’s work.
Becky is a firm believer in peer to peer education, inclusive learning and the effective use of drama as an educational tool.
