Childnet’s academic year off to a flying start

1 November 2010

Autumn has been a busy two months for the Education Team at Childnet, with the four strong team presenting to 4882 pupils during September and October covering schools in Kent, London & Greater London, East & West Sussex, Rochester, Surrey, Eastbourne, Sheffield, Essex, Berkshire and Buckinghamshire to name a few!

Lindsay Bower, Education Officer said,

“The Education Team have enjoyed meeting pupils of all ages in the UK, helping to empower the children and young people that we have spoken to with vital tips on how to stay safe online. We’ve spoken to a large number of teachers and parents and will feed back from the conversations and discussions that we have held with all of our key stakeholders to help inform Childnet’s ongoing work.

This half term we are looking forward to many more school visits and also the 15th – 19th November which is both anti-bullying week and Get Safe Online Week.
