Childnet Film Competition launches for 2025

26 February 2025

Do you know any young people aged 7-18 who are passionate about film? Who can tell a good story, create animations, or are budding actors ? Then the Childnet Film Competition is the perfect opportunity for them to use their creativity to inspire change!

Win some great filmmaking equipment for your school or youth group, and engage the young people you work with education about scams online with this years theme:

“It’s not your fault.” How can we support each other against online scams?

We are looking for films made by young people that look at the ways that they and their peers can work together to tackle online scams. This could include supporting those who have been a victim of a scam, sharing information about how to spot and report content that may contain a scam, or advice about seeking help or more information.

Finalists will be invited to our awards ceremony in London and in the past have met some of our prestigious judges from the British Academy of Film and Television Arts (BAFTA), the British Board of Film Classification (BBFC), BBC and Disney!
