Childnet to help judge Trend Micro Film Contest

1 March 2011

Will Gardner has joined the judging panel for Trend Micro’s ‘What’s Your Story?’ film contest as one of the international judges comprised of internet safety experts from around the world.

The contest aims to help parents, teachers and young people to become more aware of internet safety, with categories including; Being a Good Citizen and Maintaining your Online Privacy.

Will Gardner said:

“We are delighted to be involved in the “What’s Your Story?” competition. This is such a great opportunity for young people to learn about the safe and responsible use of technology in a creative, fun and positive way. We know that young people communicating to young people is a very powerful way to get messages across, and this is what these films can achieve.
