Childnet turns 20!

Last night Childnet celebrated 20 years working to make the internet a safe and great place for children and young people.

The event was attended by representatives from across industry, charity, education, government, academia and police in addition to young people who have been involved in Childnet’s work.

Rishi Saha from Facebook, Childnet Chair, Tink Palmer, Childnet CEO, Will Gardner, Baroness Shields, Minister for Internet Safety and Security and Becca Cawthorne, former youth participant in Childnet’s Youth IGF Project, all gave speeches at the event.
