Exciting role in the Childnet Digital Leaders team

28 March 2018

We are looking for an experienced and hard-working Project Manager to help grow our Childnet Digital Leaders Programme.

From developing our gamified digital platform to giving young people a voice on key policy issues, the role is varied and offers the exciting opportunity to play a key role in delivering an impactful peer to peer online training programme to schools all over the UK.

About the Childnet Digital Leaders Programme

The Childnet Digital Leaders Programme is a pupil-powered online safety programme that empowers young people to be Digital Leaders so they can educate their peers, parents and teachers about staying safe online. With interactive training and an exciting online community, the programme helps schools put young people at the heart of their whole-school approach and ensures internet safety learning is fun and effective.

Teams of Digital Leaders in primary and secondary schools across the UK join our gamified online platform where they earn points and badges by completing our training modules, delivering impactful activities in their school and joining discussions in our online community.

As one Childnet Digital Leader said:

“After having this training, planning a lesson for my peers and attending two webinars I can certainly say that being a digital leader has taught me a lot. Not only about the internet, but it has helped me develop my presentation skills and I have learnt how to engage people as well as help and support them. I am very excited for what is still to come.” –
