Childnet’s 8th annual Film Competition will be held on Monday 3rd July. This year the theme of the competition is ‘be the change’, inviting young people to use films to encourage their peers to make a positive change online.
Over 120 schools from across the UK entered the competition this year, and the 6 finalists will attend a private screening of their films at the BFI on London’s Southbank. All of the finalists’ films are shown on the big screen at the BFI and the young people are given an opportunity to share what they learnt and enjoyed most about making their films. The event will be attended by industry guests and all of the young filmmakers.
