Only one month left to enter the 2019 Childnet Film Competition!

10 May 2019

The Childnet Film Competition is a great opportunity for young people to get creative and share online safety messages in video form. We have some great prizes up for grabs again this year which can be won for the entrant’s school or youth club.

As the competition turns 10 this year, our theme is all about celebrating the internet and creating a message which reflects safe and positive online behaviour for the next 10 years and beyond.

OUR FUTURE ONLINE what can we all do to make our future internet a great and safe place?

Our Primary category theme is: The internet belongs to me and this is how it’s going to be

Our Secondary category theme is: What’s your vision for a better internet?

Who can enter the competition?

The competition is open to schools or youth groups who work with young people aged 7-18. You can find out all the information you need to enter by visiting the Film Competition page on the Childnet website and downloading the entry pack for primary or the entry pack for secondary.

On these pages you can find supporting resources such as top tips, FAQs, copyright information as well as last year’s winning films for inspiration.

We are so excited to see what young people across the country have to say about online safety and want to encourage as many young people as possible in schools, youth clubs or part of any youth-focused organisation to take on the challenge and get filming!
