UK Safer Internet Centre and Childnet make ISPA Awards shortlist

Safer Internet Day 2015 and Digiduck both shortlisted within the Best Safety Award Category at this year’s ISPA’s.

We are delighted to announce that both the UK Safer Internet Centre and Childnet have been shortlisted for this year’s ISPA Awards. Both have made the top 5 of the Best Safety Award category.

The UK Safer Internet Centre have been shortlisted for making Safer Internet Day 2015 the UK’s biggest collaboration to make the internet a safer place for children and young people by mobilising over 865 organisations to take part. Childnet have been shortlisted for their storybook Digiduck’s Big Decision. It is recognised as an example of how Childnet use innovative techniques and effective partnerships to help empower thousands of children to stay safe online.

The other organisations making the top 5 include eCadets, Exa Networks and iCT4.

The winners will be announced at a ceremony on the 2nd July.
