Film Competition 2014

Film Competition 2014 asked young people ‘how would you make the internet a better place?’

Childnet’s Fifth annual Film Competition took place on Monday 14th July in Central London.

We’ve been so impressed with the high standard across all the entries this year. It really showcases young people’s creativity and understanding of e-safety issues. All 6 finalists attended a special screening of their films at the BFI in Central London, where they were awarded some amazing prizes for their schools!

During the event the winners of the competition were announced by a panel of judges including representatives from the BBC, the BBFC and Trend Micro, this year’s sponsor.

Primary Theme: We challenge you to create a 60 second film to tell us ‘How would you make the internet a better place for you and your friends?’

Secondary Theme: We challenge you to create a 2 minute film by answering ‘What does a perfect online world mean to you?’
