Prior to joining Childnet International, Kate worked for twenty years across museums, galleries and heritage in independent charity, university, and local authority organisations.
She began her career as a primary teacher, before leading learning and community engagement programmes focusing on strategic development and inclusion.
Her previous work includes regional museum learning development, museum learning research and evaluation, and the expansion of education and online safety programmes to reach children and young people across the UK and overseas. Kate has an interest in evaluation, supporting youth voice and educator professional development.
